Owner background

I spent my entire childhood in Panama City Beach and it wasn’t hard to decide that here is where I was going to stay. I earned my Associate’s degree in Computer Science from Gulf Coast Community College, and soon after, I enlisted with the United States Marine Corps as an aviation electrician. Honor, Courage, and Commitment: Those three core values were ingrained into my mind from the moment I become a poole at the recruiting station here in Panama City until the time I was handed my DD214 at my duty station in North Carolina. Those values along with the leadership principles are my guiding principles to how I live my life.

After returning from the Marines, I was offered a job from a long time friend of the family. My office manager position quickly became a fascination with bookkeeping and accounting. For 4 years, I juggled working full time as an office manager and going back to school to earn my Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from FSU PC. In January 2017, I decided it was time I opened my own bookkeeping business. Enter Bookworm, Inc. While the company hasn’t been around long, my years of experience in office management and the confidence and perseverance I learned in the Marines has served me well.
